Canals Nadal was started in 1986 by Antoni Canals Nadal when he decided to start making his own Cava together with his sons Albert and Joan Miquel and daughter Imma. They started a small production at the winery, where wines were previously sold and barrels were made by hand. Joan Miquel Nadal makes subtle, balanced “grower” Cava that display elegance and style.
These Cava are made from the typical indigenous Penedès varieties of Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Parellada. Grapes come from their own vines and selected other vine-growers. In 1997 Canals Nadal started to produce a line of still wines with the DO Penedès designation.

Cave Mont Blanc is located in Morgex, Val D'Aosta, Italy. Created in 1983 by the “Association des Viticulteurs” with the aim of developing the Valdostan viticulture and making its products known to a wider audience. The cultivation area extends between Morgex and La Salle, and the vineyards reach 1200 meters above sea level making them the highest in Europe. The height of these vineyards meant that even the phylloxera louse, which at the end of the 19th century destroyed most of the vineyards of Europe, could not survive the altitude. In these vineyards, the original vines are planted without grafting, almost exclusively from the indigenous Prié Blanc grape.

True Colours is a Cava which was originally created to support LGBTQ+ programs in Scandinavia. It is imported into Alberta by Redback Wine Imports, who has committed to donating $10 from every case sold to two great local programs: Calgary Pride and HIV Community Link.
Like most Cava, this sparkling wine is produced in Penedes, within the Catalonia region of Spain.

True Colours was initially created for the Swedish market by Altia Sweden, in conjunction with the Cava producer Sumarrocca. It's a high-quality sparkling wine made in the metodo tradicional style (much like Champagne) from Xarello, Parellada and Macabeo, along with a small amount of Chardonnay. The palate shows a core of stone fruits, citrus and minerals with a toasty brioche finish.
