Bodega Borsao is situated in Borja, in the Northwest of the province of Zaragoza, considered to be a sub-unit with its own characteristics within the region of Moncayo, in the occidental sector of the province. The winery has been the origin and engine of the D.O. “Campo de Borja”, in Aragón, north-eastern Spain or as it is also known “The Empire of Garnacha”.
The vineyards are between 10 to 25 years old and the soils are stony and slimy with clay and limestone.
The wine undergoes maceration for 6-12 hours and is then bled-off. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 14º-18º C.
750 ml
Tasting notes: Red luminescent colour with warm glows. Has a strong aroma of berries and sweets. Very young and fresh in the mouth, well balanced with its acidity, rich in floral nuances and spices.
