Bruichladdich Bourbon Cask 16 year

Matured in Jim Beam Bourbon barrels before finishing in fresh American oak from Buffalo Trace distillery, this whisky is warm, rich and drowning in vanilla. I had the opportunity to enjoy this whisky all night long at a pre-party with the crew from Bruichladdich the night before the Islay whisky festival, and was blown away by its smooth pleasant character. I'm not an American oak fan, but this one was lovely!
