The Northern Highland distillery of Brora closed in 1983 and has since become one of the biggest cult whiskies in Scotland. In the last decade leading up to its closure Brora distillery (originally called Clynelish) produced heavily peated malt whisky to distinguish itself from the new Clynelish distillery. Bora is highly sought after by collectors as a uniquely heavily peated Highland whisky. This official release is a stunner, and rumoured to be one of the last.
