Only 5,600 bottles of this vintage Glenrothes are available world-wide. The 1978 is also the last of the 70's vintage casks owned by the distillery. Wonderful, cooked fruit compote, caramel fudge and orange syrup.

The picture doesn't do this whisky justice, it comes framed in a lovely oak presentation. This whisky is the last of Glenrothes 1970's vintages. Tasting note by Brand Ambassador Ronnie Cox: "Masses of plummy spice and rich honeyed treacle on the nose. Wonderful, cooked fruit compote, caramel fudge and orange syrup. Silky delivery, with a long, spicy finish."
