OMC Ardbeg 16 Year Rum Finish

This Ardbeg was distilled in March of 1991 and bottled in September of 2007. The 90's were a tough time for Ardbeg, with intermitent production and changes in ownership. Ardbeg of this age is rare and hard to come by. Tasting note courtesy of DL : "Nose: round, full of jammy sweetness, with distinct phenols. Palate: mouth-coatingly sweet, with oily, ashy, peaty character. Finish: dry, smoked, tarry and still phenolic." - Fred Laing
