This new whisky replaces the Longmorn 15Yr old. Reviewed in Whisky Magazine it received a Silver Recomendation scoring 8 1/4 with Dave Broom and 8 1/2 with Martine Nouet. Tasting note from Martine Nouet of Whisky Magazine: Nose A sweet tempting almost heady coconut fragrance. Like walking among gorses on a summer day. Opens on biscuity aromas. Palate Smooth, silky. Enticing. Marzipan, macaroon, chocolate and cereal bar. Finish: drying on pleasant oaky notes. And chewed grass.
