The "Glasgow With Style Clipper" is one of a fleet of 10 Yachts which will be circumnavigating the globe via 14 ports of call before returning to Liverpool. Bottled at 53%--53 degrees being the latitude of the race's starting port of Liverpool--this whisky is from a Refill Sherry cask hand selected by Gordon & MacPhail's directors. Nose: soft fruits, peaches, nectarines, pears; malty with sweet vanilla and soft smoke. Palate: Opens mouth coating with orange, tangerine and a honeyed sweetness; a touch of oak, light spices and a smoky edge at the back. Finish: Long with malt, citrus notes and light smoke.
