Cask 1772. Rich dark mahogany. Heavy in rich cocoa beans. An old fashioned Gentleman's Club with Chesterfield chairs, polished banisters and old wood panels. Dry, liquorice, heavy tannins. Again as on the nose, rich dark German/Belgian chocolate distinct bitterness that sets the whisky up perfectly. Long finish oozing class and power. Bottled 2010.
