54% ABV, from BenRiach's 2006 line of special releases. Colour: rich gold. Nose: spices, hazelnuts and floral notes with green apples. Palate: rich spices, combined with hazelnuts, butterscotch and mocha, interwoven with delicate peat notes. Finish: smooth and clean, w/ the butterscotch making another appearance. ml
