Bottled at cask strength 49.1%, there will be two releases of the exclusive vintage from two separate Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. Both casks have been maturing in warehouses on the outskirts of Glasgow & although distilled & filled on the same date – Monday 15 April 1957 - the two bottlings offer very different characteristics. Cask, 480 has produced 144 hand numbered bottles. Nose: a light fragrance of eucalyptus, butterscotch & treacle; w/ water ripe soft fruit & fresh green apples. Palate: mint, light treacle & dark chocolate. Finish: silky smooth and deliciously complex finish. 750 ml
