Nose: The re-charred sherry influence is huge, giving a distinct burnt caramel character. Brown toast w/ butter, well-browned flapjack & roasted oats. Also notes of tawny marmalade, candle wax, ice cream soda and iron bru(Scotish Cola-Think Red Bull)! Palate: rich & dry with huge amounts of flavour. Sweet oak, peaches & honey are concentrated at the back of the palate. Finish: well balanced long, rich & warming; sweet smokey notes mingle w/ sherry, oak & caramel.
