Arran Tokaji Cask Finish

After maturing in traditional oak casks for over 8 years the Arran Single Malt in this bottle was 'finished' for a period of 7 months in a selection of Tokaji Aszú wine casks. Known as the "Wine of Kings, King of Wines", this wonderfully rich, sweet Tokaji-Aszú wine was previously matured for three years in these casks made from the finest Hungarian oak (Quercus Petraea & Quercus Robur). Aroma: Honey, Seville Oranges & Apricot Preserve. Palate: Rich & lush with just enough of the classic Arran citrus character to cut through the syrup-sweetness. Finish: Long & lingering; digestif. Pure nectar.
