The photo at left from is from a Japanese single malt website; I couldn't resist. The Japanese are single malt crazy, and are as much in love with the Scottish Highland's as they are with PEI. There is a lot going on in this photo, just as there is in the whisky. I found it very sweet, becoming dry and spicy w/ wine character, treacle and cold tea notes. Established in 1995 Arran is Scotland's youngest distillery, bottling whisky.
