Released in 2007 the 'Importanticus Fumosus' one of three 12 year old heavily peated BenRiachs, matured in American oak and finished either in sherry, port or dark rum casks. Nose: big, with peat, seaweed, vanilla and herbs. Backbone of Tawny Port notes. Palate: sweet peat and seaweed with hints of vanilla, citrus and wild flowers. Finish: a rich infusion of Port.
