Strathisla founded in 1786 is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Originally known as Milton distillery after Milton Castle, the whisky has always been called Strathisla. The whisky is the product of 1st and 2nd fill sherry butts. Nose: rich, fruits, smoke, caramel & burnt wood. With water, waxy, floral & cofee notes. Palate: Smoky w/ spicy fruits.
