Colour: bright pale gold. Nose: fresh, clean, stewed apple, toast, grass almond & marzipan; is this Caol Ila? Becomes even more grassy & herbal with water, fruities w/ a trace of toffee. Body: light-smooth. Palate: Hot & smoky, sweet, drying, grass & herbs w/ a trace of char. W/ water oily, pineapple, good acidity & salt. Finish: very clean, sesame seed & a touch of oak.
