In 1955 Scrabble was introduced, "Rock Around the Clock" was released, Ray Kroc bought out a hamburger franchise from the McDonald brothers and Harland Sanders launched his Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise. "Nose: burnt raisins and apples. Taste: the taste buds get a good spicy peppering as the barley rootles about the palate; the sherry is clear and intact. Finish: amazingly long with the oak falling short of its desired palate domination. Balance: close call: one more Speyside August and this dram would have been matchwood." - Jim Murray
