This is not a port finish, the whisky spent the whole of its 10 year maturation in Port Pipes. The whisky has been very well received by most critics. Nose: sour, fruity, well-rounded, and maturesweeter w/ water, vanilla, leather & a touch of seaweed. Palate: slightly oily, more smoke, w/ a short finish. Deeper w/ water. Finish: well balanced, fruity and smoky!
