Every year Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart chooses a pannel of experts to select 4 casks of whisky, 30 years of age or older to bottle as special vintage Balvenie. For this bottling three retired excisemen, who also happen to be single malt enthusiasts were given the task of helping David Stewart create a whisky. The four casks selected yeilded 848 bottles @ 46.7%. Only a few made it to Canada. ml
