Gordon & MacPhail is one of the oldest independent bottlers, they have been bottling and retailing whisky since 1895. Nose: is dominated by rich fruit cake & a smoky edge. With water the smoke yields to malt, tropical fruits, vanilla and the lingering Sherry notes. Palate: mouth warming, smooth, chewy tropical fruits. With water it becomes sweeter & honeyed, with a smoky edge. Finish: long, dominated by tropical fruits. ml
