Arran Lepanto PX Brandy Cask

Arran's whiskies exhibit a style and character far in excess of their young age. The PX refers to the maturing cask, Pedro Ximenez, a sweet Spanish desert wine. The Lepanto Brandy cask used to finish the whisky comes from the famous Gonzalez-Byass house of Spain. Nose: sweet oak & mint-toffee. Palate: melon and ginger w/ spices, tangy fruit and a hint of oak. Finish: mellow & spicy-sweet.
