The Benromach distillery sat idle from 1983 when it was mothballed, until 1997 when new owners Gordon & MacPhail brought it back on line. They purchased the distillery in '93, but as it was both run down & lacking in equipment it took 4 years to rebuild. Nose: sweet peaches & nectarines. Body: rich & smooth. Palate: sweet spices, cinnamon, dry grass & delicate smoke. Finish: dry sherry notes.700 ml
