Founded in 1786 Strathisla is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland. This particular bottling is from independent bottler Coopers Choice, a wing of the Vintage Malt Whisky Company. Matured in Jerez Sherry for 36 years. Nose: spied apple, burnt raisins, molasses & sweet malt. Body: full, drying. Palate: loads of sweet malt, hickory smoke & cocoa. Finish: waves of spice & gentle oak.700 ml
