North Port served as a barracks for the Polish division, part of the 1st Canadian Army in WWII. The distillery was founded at Brechin in 1820, and took the name North Port from one of the gates of the walled city. Nose: floral, perfumed, dark chocolate, Armagnac. Body: medium/dry. Palate: dry, nutty, bitter-sweet dark chocolate. Finish: moderate w/ dried fruits and sweet malt.
