Longmorn was voted the 9th best Scotch Malt Whisky in the world in issue 39 of Whisky Magazine. This bottling was the only independent bottling to make the top 90 finalists. It was described as "outstanding" and "the guv'nor" by the judges! Nose: waxy-fruit, heather, and a trace of peat. Palate: early peat, rich fruit, toasted oak, nutty and oily!
