The distillery, previously named St Magdalenes, is built on the site of an old leper colony dating back to the 12th century. Close to the ruins of the once Royal Castle of Linlithgow, this lowland distillery closed in 1983. However, independent bottlings can be still be found along with this 29 yr old version from Murray McDavid. Typical to the style, this whisky is soft, sensual and velvety smooth.700 ml
