Longrow, the peated whisky from the Mull of Kintyre exhibits similarities to the styles of Lagavulin and Caol Ila. Gently smoky and peated the whisky maintains the smooth body typical of Springbank whiskies. 60% of the spirit is matured in bourbon casks giving it a rush of sweetness, the other 40%, matured in sherry, is the source of the rich spices. Soft, smooth peat smoke dominates the finish.
