Benromach Traditional

Benromach ceased operation in 1983, but in what is another happy ending, the distillery was purchased by Gordon & MacPhail in 1992 and refurbished over the next five years. The Traditional is a vatted malt of the distillery's younger whiskies, exhibiting more of the natural whisky's style (fruity,malty with hints of smoke) with less wood influence. The texture is light with a dry finish.
