This rare 21 Yr Old originates from the now closed distillery Port Ellen, whos namesake village hosts one of the two ferry terminals on the island of Islay. It's whitewashed buildings still stand at portside. Only local peat was used (some say 'the' most concentrated peat in Scotland) to produce these distillery's bottlings. Consequently, the flavor is complex and peaty with medicinal notes. Wow!
