The Loch Lomond distillery actually sits astride the Highlands/Lowlands boundary, however, it's classified as a Highland since its water comes from the northerly Loch Lomond. "Lomond type" of stills produce different styles of whisky, so in addition to Old Rhosdhu, a malt by the name of Inchmurrin is also distilled. The whisky is quite smooth, medium bodied, dry with some sweetness and spice
