This distillery, established in 1878, is one of five in the Speyside town of Rothes. Long been prized by blenders (namely Cutty Sark), this quietly noble whisky is now more widely appreciated as a single malt. Interestingly, in 1922, the distillery experienced a disastrous fire in which 2500 casks of spirit were lost. An elegant, dark amber hued malt with notes of dried fruit and toffee.750 ml
