The Torres family has been linked with wine for more than 3 centuries. They continue to receive international acclaim including; Wine Spectator Award - the most important winery (2000), and Miguel Torres Man of the year in Decanter magazine (2002). Juan Torres Casals begin aging distilled wine to create brandy in 1928. The Torres 10 is made from traditional grape varieties: Xarel-lo, Macabeo and Parellada. Its intense bouquet shows warm hints of cinnamon and an extremely smooth palate.

Torres Brandy is principally made from the Parellada, a very delicate white Catalan grape. The grape thrives in the cool microclimate of the mountains in the upper Penedes. This brandy is obtained by the distillation of only select wines. Double distillation in copper pot stills, followed by the careful selection of the finest and most aromatic fractions, and ageing in Limousin oak barrels.
