Dolcettos are a good value for those who love Italian wines. They're the gentler, softer cousins to Piedmont's better-known (at least in Canada) and pricier Barberas and Barolos. Just like Barolo and Barbera, though, Dolcetto makes great food wines. Luigi Einaudi is the producer behind this label; he has a solid international reputation for high-quality, easy-to-drink red wines.
