Scotland's most westerly distillery was originally founded in 1881, and recently re-opened its doors much to the delight of Islay whisky aficionados. Finished in 100% American oak, bourbon barrels, this whisky first opens up to a malty scent, slightly bready that's free of even a trace of peat. The palate is firm, fruity, malty sweet with a slight oily texture. Rich and flavourful.
