Tasting Note From Jim Murray's Whisky Bible: 90pts: "Nose: has retained its sherrytriffle character, though now with more custard. Taste: firm delivery. The barley thumps home confidently. It takes the grapes, sugars and a few trailing spices a little while to catch up. Finish: the surprising late arrival of oils give the fruit ample time to make their mark, especially the sugary banana. The late spices are a treat. Balance: A complex and satisfying malt of a very high standard."
