Named after the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin, the vodka is quadruple distilled from potatoes grown in the Podlasie region of Poland. It takes 7lbs of potatoes to make a single bottle of Chopin vodka. The brand was introduced to the North American market in 1997 and is owned by LVMH, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey, who also own Veuve Cliquot, Ardbeg and Glenmorangie.
