The Macallan 25 year old is carefully matured in ex-sherry European oak casks from Jerez in Spain. Macallan spends more money on oak than any other distillery in Scotland, and the results speak for themselves. Macallan has two lines of products, Sherry Oak and Fine Oak, with former being recognized as the signature style of Macallan. The sherry oak line contains: Cask Strength, 12Yr, 18Yr, 25Yr, 30Yr, 40Yr and 50Yr bottlings.
