The Cragganmore Distillery, founded 1869-70, is located on a picturesque hollow high above the River Spey. Its water, from nearby springs, is relatively hard which may contribute to its unique and complex flavor. Typically finished in sherry casks, this version is slightly creamy and smoky with hints of spice and a fine balance between sweetness and peatiness.

The Glenfarclas 105 was featured on Day 7 of our 2021 KWM Whisky Calendar.
The Glenfarclas 105 was introduced more than 50 years ago, back in 1968. It was the first small batch, cask strength Single Malt Whisky released by a distillery. Like everything that Glenfarclas Distillery releases, the whisky within the 105 was matured entirely in ex-sherry casks. No age statement is given on the bottles, but my guess is we are looking at a whisky that is between 7-10 years old. And of course, it is bottled at a bracing 60% ABV or 105 British proof - hence the name. Pour a bit into your glass and it a taste!

The Glenlivet 21Year Old Archive is a batch produced whisky using only hand-selected casks. It is a complex whisky with sherried and wood notes integrating seamlessly with the aromatic palette.
