Batch 2 of Ardnahoe Cask Strength is fairly similar to Batch 1, matured exclusively in First-Fill ex-Bourbon Casks, and bottled at 5 years and 61% (as opposed to 60.9%). It even has an identical tasting note... though we'll be the judge of that!

The latest core release in the Ardbeg stable is Wee Beastie, a 5-year-old Ardbeg that was created to be the rawest and most peaty Ardbeg ever bottled. The whisky is matured in a mix of ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. 47.4%.

While it's said to be deep, with risks associated with exploration, a precise measurement hasn't been established. The water within is characterized by its softness, filtering through peat and rock."
