This ancient Puglian varietal is well adapted to the warm dry climate and frequent sea breezes of the Salento appellation. The Primitivo grown by Paolo Leo is bold yet structured resulting in a medium-bodied wine with smooth tannins and fruity flavour. Pair with cured meats, aged cheeses, roasts, and well-seasoned tomato-based sauces. The 2025 vintage shows the lineage to California zinfandel with its juicy, spicy profile. Great Value!
