"This is Whiskyland Chapter Twenty One: a luscious Longmorn 1996, matured for 28 years in a humble refill hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength. Please be aware, this whisky contains excessive flavours of the Longmorn Fruit (Longmornium Fruiticus Whiskylandium). Certain people can be allergic to this fruit, even in tiny doses. This includes, but is not limited to, distillery owners, influencers, yeast suppliers, writers, bloggers, opinion havers, pontificators, virtue signallers and preening twits. If this includes you, then, according to the Whiskyland health board, it may be prudent to taste this whisky with care - you should definitely still buy a couple of bottles though!"

In fact, no one is particularly sure whether they are bars with large reading selections, or libraries that serve drinks. It doesn't do to ponder these unanswerable questions too deeply. Best to just pour a generous measure of this rather sublime 1994 'Gone Grant' single malt that underwent a 4 year secondary maturation in a fresh sherry hogshead, select something intellectually nourishing to read, and occasionally glance out of the window at the Whiskyland night sky."

"Whiskyland Chapter Seventeen is a bit of an experiment. A mixing together of Glen Moray single malt from three different cask types and vintages. Small amounts of whisky from one refill sherry and two refill bourbon hogsheads, were all married together in that most romantic of vessels, an IBC, to create a small-batch 31 year old Glen Moray that's richly fruity, waxy and honeyed with abundant old school Speyside character. There are certainly parts of Whiskyland which are goverened by chaos, but this bottling comes from one of Whiskyland's more serene places, where balance and harmony are very much the rule. We hope this wee Glen Moray demonstrates those same qualities..."
