The Schmitt winery has been in the family for over 230 years, with Bianka and Daniel working their 16 hectares for the last decade. They work in full biodynamic, which they learned from legendary Alsace vigneron Patrick Meyer and are one of only 80 producers in Germany to be Demeter certified.
750 mlMade of 50% Scheurebe and 50% Muskateller from Frauenberg. Both varieties vinified separately 1.5 weeks on skins, then after gentle pressing, the wine is aged in 1200L oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Elderflower, peach, and lychee, accented by subtle hints of melon and rose.
