57.5% - Cask 172583 - This suitably dark looking Single Cask Nation Benriach was distilled in December 2008 and spent its final 3.5 years in a 1st Fill PX Bodega Barrique.

Producer Tasting Note
Nose: This dram opens with a lovely bold and unmistakable sherried nose. Lots of leather and dark chocolate but there is a a fruity side peeking through. We got a touch of ripe banana skins and juicy cherries.
Palate: Classic Benriach in the form of malty goodness with some ginger cake and cinnamon coming through. Freshly baked banana cake too.
Finish: A lingering warmness comes from oatmeal and raisin cookies and a pinch of oakiness.

Bottled exclusively for Alberta, this 24 year old BenRiach was distilled in 1997 and matured in a Bourbon Barrel (#14493) before bottling in 2022 at a cask strength of 56.5%. Selected by Rachel Barrie, only 176 total bottles have been released!
