"This is a 15yr old, 100% column still rum made from molasses, aged entirely in the tropics. This rum was distilled in February of 2008 at Destileria Sofa in Venezuela. It is aged in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength."

"Nose: Mild and approachable, with prominent notes of apricot and other stone fruits, alongside hints of juicy fruit gum. The rum shows delicate “pearls” that break slowly, forming oily, lustrous legs.
Taste: Rich and oily on the palate, with flavors of ripe apricot, mango, and cocoa, followed by treacle, sweet caramel, anise, and a hint of spearmint. Gentle heat lingers on the tongue, leading to a long finish with warm wood spice and caramel. Some sediment may remain at the bottom of the glass over time. Not tasted diluted."
