Terravista is situated in the Sub GI Area known as the Naramata Bench with over 50 wineries in the area as their neighbours.
Their Estate Vineyard, Lone Hand Ranch, is the home to the wine they call "FANDANGO". Spanish varietals, Albariño and Verdejo, typically grown in northwestern Spain and Portugal, were planted here in 2008. The southwestern slope of till sediments and stony soils of this vineyard above Naramata Road are optimal conditions for these aromatic whites with crisp acidity.
Aromatic honeysuckle, pear and lemon on the nose. Lemons dipped in honey with a creamy texture and weight from a portion of Albariño from Grand Island fermented in concrete. This satisfying and structured blend of Albariño and Verdejo is a versatile, textured white wine. The blend of the Evergreen Albariño, which has this racy acidity and citrus and a kiss of melon from Verdejo, makes for a welcome riff off our own blend of these two Naramata Bench-grown varieties.
