Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Notes of lychee, dried mango with cinnamon and toasted vanilla are followed by a richness of warm toffee and melted milk chocolate balanced by citrus and mint notes. The aroma evolves with time into notes of satsumas and clementines with a nod to the age of the wood.
Palate: Incredibly thick with flavours of fruit syrup, chilli jam and popped buttered popcorn with peach curd on seeded toast. A light wood smoke builds with flavours of dried mint and tarragon creating more depth to the initial sweetness.
Finish: Long, lingering orange oil, more of the chilli spice with thyme and honeysuckle and a touch of peat.
