Mazzarosa is a story of tradition, passion, and innovation, rooted in two extraordinary regions of Italy: Abruzzo and Tuscany. Founded in 1863 by Senator Giuseppe Devincenzi, the winery in Abruzzo reflects his pioneering vision for agriculture and winemaking. Over time, the Mazzarosa family extended their legacy to Tuscany, where the San Pietro estate has been crafting wine and olive oil for over 150 years. Together, these two historic estates embody the richness of Italian heritage and the values passed down through generations. The Mazzarosa Estates in Abruzzo span approximately 500 hectares, with 27 dedicated to vineyards aged between 20 and 40 years, located in one of the most favourable areas in Abruzzo for winemaking.

On the palate it is warm and plush with good structure and a backbone of cherry fruit with a touch of minerality.
