Over the past 40 years, Cody’s (Cody Wright, son of legendary Oregon winemaker Ken Wright) family has created a legacy of quality in the Oregon wine industry. Their winemaking styles and techniques helped Oregon’s Willamette Valley become the premium Pinot Noir-producing region in the world. At Purple Hands, Cody continues to build on the standard of excellence initiated by the previous generation.They dry farm their 60 acres of estate vineyards with their in-house team. They believe that dry farming pro-acts the roots of the grapevine and strengthens their work to descend into the parent material of subsoil finding water, in the process creating incredible fruit character.
