Substantially Complete 2023 is a Mixed Fermentation blend of 1, 2, 3 & 4 year red wine barrels. It won a gold medal at the Concours International de Lyon in 2025 in the Sour Beer category.

6.9% ABV — Substantially Complete reflects The Monolith both as a physical entity and the beer it produces. With a new vintage being released every few years, this beer is a snapshot in time of our mixed fermentation program. This iteration uses neutral and freshly emptied red wine barrels that fermented for 1, 2, 3 & 4 years with our house-blend of microorganisms. The result is our quintessential blend; adventurous, yet balanced, with bright nectarine, wine grape, and citrus flavour highlighted by a round acidity. We hope you like it!
